Android : Cupcake To Pie



Android OS launched in September 2008 with his first version Android 1.0. It was developed by Android Inc. Till date Android has given lot of OS versions.

Let’s discuss from Cupcake to the latest launch Android 9: Pie.




Cupcake 1.5 was the 3rd version of the Android, developed by Google and it was launched in 2009. Cupcake released with new features like compatibility of Bluetooth and the on screen keyword. In the same year 2009, Android has launched another version called Android 1.6 Donut with some useful changes.  Donut supports for CDMA networks also improved text search to speech engine for better speech quality and text search.

In the very next month of 2009, Android has launched its new OS system called Android 2.0 with Bluetooth support of 2.1 and they also improved the Google maps. In 2010, Android has came with his another OS update that was Android 2.1 Éclair with some minor amendments and comes with the bug fixes. In same year 2010, Android has launched two more updates one is Android 2.2: Froyo and other one is Android 2.3 Gingerbread.




In 2011, Android accompanied their new updates Android 3.0, 3.1, and 3.2: Honeycomb with few highlights and they have settled the voice bugs.In the October month of the same year 2011, Android 4.0: Ice Cream Sandwich has launched with the numerous new features. Ice Cream Sandwich was the last version to officially support Adobe Systems Flash player.

After that in 2012, Android has prepared with its new updates Android 4.1: Jelly Bean with smoother UI. In 2013, Google has declared new updates Android 4.4: KitKat, which was required least measure of RAM accessible to Android is 340 MB, and all gadgets with under 512 MB of RAM must report themselves as "low RAM" gadgets.

With the quick moving rivalry, Android has dispatched it new refresh in Android 5.X: Lollipop in 2014 help 64bit CPU. Android has propelled it with loads of new details.
In 2015, Android accompanied new updates Android 6.X: Marshmallow, which Introduction the Doze mode, which decreases CPU speed while the screen is off keeping in mind the end goal to spare battery life.
